The triple picot stitch is great when used for an edging when you would like to add a touch of whimsy to any project. I was excited about this stitch actually because I crocheted it for the first time this year. One of the amazing things about crocheting that always keeps me coming back is the endless amount of stitches that there are to learn. All using the basic stitches in different combinations.

This stitch is no exception, all you will need to master before working this stitch is the single crochet, chain stitch and slip stitch. Out of those three stitches you will create a beautiful edging.

Enough talk, let get some yarn and a hook and learn the triple picot.

Note:  I am using a foundation row of five single crochets.

Congratulations!!!  You have just completed your first triple crochet picot.

Now you can testify as to how easy this stitch is to work and how pleasing it is to the eye.
Would love to hear what you think of the Triple Picot stitch. On a different note, if you have had the pleasure of already using this stitch would love to hear what you think of it.

Until next time, keep those hooks flying.
