I would like to apologize for the lateness of this post. It just seemed that this has been the busiest year in my entire life; especially since I have returned from our holiday to Tennessee.
Upon my arrival home I found this kit in the bundle of mail that I picked up from the post office.
In May, my kit was “The Four Season Scarf”. It is a beautiful lacy pattern fashion scarf, that will accent several of my dresses. I was looking forward to not only crocheting this item but am really excited about wearing it.
The kit is an intermediate pattern that will require an F hook and tapestry needle from my supply. Annie’s Hook & Needle club provided two skeins of light worsted weight purple yarn in unmarked labels and two sets of instructions, as usual one in knitting and one in crocheting.
The pattern calls for three speciality stitches the Picot (Picot), Single Crochet decrease (Single Crochet Decrease) and Triple Picot inaction to the basic stitches of the chain stitch (The Chain Stitch), single crochet (The Single Crochet), double crochet (The Double Crochet) and half double crochet (Half Double Crochet).
I will be finished with this scarf today and will soon share my review in more detail about my experience with the kit.
Until next time, keep those hooks flying.
