I really want to make a new purse. Also, some afghans for my children, especially the boys. The girls get lots of handmade things, it’s easy to sew and crochet for them, but the boys need some attention, too!

I have used Red Heart yarn since first learning to crochet in 1980. It’s always been my “go-to” yarn for nearly everything I’ve ever made. One of my most recent projects that I’ve done was 3 different crochet hook cases, all from the same pattern, and all using multiple colors of Red Heart.
My favorite types are the Super Savers and their newer “With Love” variety. I have noticed in the last few years the quality has greatly improved as well, and that the ‘regular’ skeins are now softer than they used to be! The prices are so reasonable that it makes it very affordable for me to get more than one than one skein at a time! Keep up the great work Red Heart!

We used to be able to get Red Heart here in SA many years ago, but I have not seen it around for a while. I still remember how wonderfully it knitted when my daughter was a baby. (25 years ago) I think it must be an awesome yarn. I specially love the colours, they are so very warm and vibrant.

I have used the Super Saver to crochet many afghans…ever since I was a little girl. However I have now just bought the Red Heart Soft to crochet an afghan that will match the living room decor in the new house my husband and I just bought…and I think it might be my new favorite! We will see after I get into it some!
