This is another class I teach in Northern Illinois.

The Hairpin Lace was said to originally have been used with the finer threads on a large hairpin loom, going back to Victorian days. It is still done that way today only it is used with any yarn from your finer threads to worst weight yarn. The Hairpin Lace is a crochet technique done by using a crochet hook and a hairpin lace loom that forms long braid strips.
Once you have crochet enough braids, they are then attached by connecting or inter weaving the loops with a crochet hook or crochet stitches to form the pattern desired.

In my class we will be making a beautiful book marker while at the same time learning a new stitch in crocheting. It Is recommended that you have already mastered the single crochet and chain stitches.

This is a one day class that last for three hours.
