The second and newest kit I am working on is actually a useful one. It is unusual for me to post about the kit when I am half way through working on the project. So far I am really enjoying this one. It is a Classic Tote Bag, I was wanting a tote bag to carry my Bible, back and forth and to and from church. I was looking through patterns for tote bags trying to make up mind which one to crochet when I received this one in the mail. It solved my problem.

The kit came with two unmarked skeins of yarn, one off white and the second green-both in medium worsted weight yarn. I just need to use an F crochet hook from my personal tools and a tapestry needle to complete the Classic tote bag.

The kit also came with two patterns, one for crochet and one for knit. I will be working the crochet version from the kit. There is only one specialty stitch and that is the single crochet decrease making the skill level for this pattern marked easy. This would be a really good pattern for someone who knows their stitches and would like to try something a little harder.

My grand daughter saw me crocheting my tote bag and asked me what I was doing and when I explained I was making a tote bag for church, she promptly asked me if I could make her one. So who knows? I might be making a couple of these before it is done.
