In addition to a wonderful steak dinner at Outback, my husband was very thoughtful on my birthday.
He gave me a gift certificate for JoAnn’s Store. I brought some yarn I have been needing and the pillow for the Red Heart project.
The second gift I will be enjoying several times in the upcoming year. My wonderful husband (through a subscription) has sent me a the Crochet Define Magazine. I will receive 6 issues in the next twelve months.
The last gift was a crochet book I have been wanting for a while. It is a ultimate collection of crochet techniques, “Crochet Compendium”. It is filled with tutorial’s and projects for the following:
The broomstick lace
Beading
Crocheting doilies
Double-ended crochet
Felting
Filet crochet
Crochet with fleece
Mosaic Crochet
hairpin Lace
Intarsia
Slip Stitch
Learn to Crochet Socks
Symbol Crochet
Tunisian
Waffle-Weave
Wiggly Crochet
Crochet basics
It was truly a birthday that just kept on giving. But the best part was at half a century, I am still spending my Birthday’s with the Love of My Life.
Look forward to posting projects with all this yarn I have been receiving.
Until next week, keep those hooks flying.
He sounds like a keeper. Happy Birthday.
