Today I finished my Solomon’s Knot Scarf. This was my second time crocheting this scarf for myself with the first being around twelve years ago. I wore my old one so much it was started to look it’s age. It is wonderful that when an old favorite item of my wardroom wears out I can just dig out the pattern and crochet a brand new one. I wish I could do this with all my clothing.

I used some unmarked gray yarn in my stash, so I am sorry to say I cannot tell you the brand. Sometime when I buy yarn from thrift stores or yarn sales they are unmarked and unlabeled so reproducing it becomes a challenge. Using a K hook the scarf worked up so quickly that it was ready for use within the week.

The Solomon knot is an open stitch and one of the larger hook that allows this pattern works up quickly. I have enclosed the link for those of you who have not tried this stitch and would like to. It is one of my favorite stitches to crochet. It is easy to work and looks beautiful. I highly suggest its use.  I have inclosed the linked to the tutorial for those of you who would like to learn this stitch. (Solomon’s KnotTutorial)

Until next week, keep those hooks flying.
