Yesterday, along with my daughter’s birthday gift, the mail brought the new kit from Annie’s Hook & Needle Club. This month I will be crocheting two Metallic Scarves. They have the beautiful snowflake design worked into the middle that I have always loved the look of.
The pattern is an easy skill level and came with two skeins of 2 weight yarn; one in Topaz and the second in Raspberry. Once again the labels say Annie’s Hook and Needle Club so I will not be able to duplicate the yarn if I really like working with it.
I believe this would be a great pattern for a beginner who would like a little challenge. The pattern is worked with an H hook and consists of single crochet (Single Crochet), slip stitch (Slip Stitch) and double crochet(Double Crochet) stitches.
There is enough yarn for two scarves. I am thinking about keeping one and putting one up for Christmas. Will let you know when I write the review.
Until next time, keep those hooks flying.
Hi Pamela. I have missed seeing you lately. I can’t wait to see what you are going to make with these. Please do share when you finish. I am going to be crocheting a dress, booties and hat for my niece’s baby. She sent me a picture of something she likes. I have found a dress that is similar, and booties, but haven’t yet located the hat. Do you have patterns for such things?

Right now I am working on a “Victorian Throw.” that is crochet in a filet pattern of diamonds and a shaw that should be finished early next week. I am also working on a I had decided to start a square sampler afghan “Special Stitches Sample” ; but after working two squares I was unhappy with the color and am in the process of looking for some different yarn.
I have lots of patterns of baby hats but I am not sure if it is what you are looking for. I always enjoy crocheting for babies.

Hi Pamela. Where would I be able to see your baby hat patterns?

I would love to help you out. But I am unsure of what baby hat your are looking for. I have been collecting patterns for twenty-nine years and I have a very large pattern assortment. I let people look through my patterns all the time and loan them to them. But we live a long way from each other. It would take a lot of scanning and time to show you all my patterns for baby items. Because of copy rights laws I can not publish a pattern on my blog unless it is a free one. I am really sorry, I would love to help you but I feel my hands are tied.
