The fifth kit from the Annie’s Hook & Needle Club arrived today. It is a “Lovely Lattice Vest” and is an easy level pattern. When finish I will have a pretty vest to add to my wardrobe and I have the perfect dress to wear with the new vest! As always it comes with two patterns, one for crocheting and one for knitting. I will be working the crochet vest.
The pattern itself consist mainly of double crochets and trebles with Speciality Stitches of double crochet decreases and 3-double crochet decreases. It is crocheting that uses an I hook and grey light weight (3) yarn. Yet, once again I am disappointed to say I will not be able to duplicate the pattern using the same yarn, the label just reads Annie’s Hook & Needle Kit Club. I can tell you that the yarn is 60% Cotton and 40% Acrylic.
There are only two skeins of yarn, so it looks like another quick project. That will be a nice break from the baby afghan I have been working on. I will keep you posted.
Until next time, keep those hooks flying
