This is a quick project I am crocheting for one of the Hostess Gifts at our Ladies Banquet this Saturday evening at our church.

I first crocheted this Tea Bag Wallet when I received the “Defining Crochet” Summer 2012 issue.

The Tea Bag Wallet is a great gift. It helps you to carry your tea and sugar on the go in a cute little pouch. It is an easy skill level – making it great for beginners and is crocheted using an E hook.

The bag itself is composed of single crochet (Single Crochet), double crochet (Double Crochet) and single crochet decreases (Single Crochet Decrease). I used a sport yarn from my stash which can easily be done because it only uses 150 yards of yarn. The finished measurements are 3 1/4 x 3 inches making it really easy to fit into a pocket or a purse. This is my fourth time crocheting this item as a gift, so as you can see, I enjoy making this as a gift. I always insert a Twinings tea bag and some sugar inside the wallet before presenting the Tea Bag Wallet as a gift.

Next project is Annie’s Hook & Needle Club Easy Spring Hat. Cannot wait to see it on my granddaughter.

Until next time, Keep those hooks flying.
